Meditations
These paintings are a departure from my usual mode of figurative, photorealistic commercial work to a freer, more meditative process. In my past day job as a hand-painted advertising mural artist, I rendered images with precision and detail. These pieces, however, explore a more abstract and meditative approach. Created through a process of experimentation with color, line, and shape, they reflect a shift towards a more non-linear and expressive way of working. This shift mirrors the early 20th-century evolution from figurative art to abstraction pioneered by artists like Kandinsky and the Cubists.
